For Little Bonfire, we wanted the design to feel like an extension of the restaurant itself: warm, welcoming, and effortlessly refined.

For Little Bonfire, we wanted the design to feel like an extension of the restaurant itself: warm, welcoming, and effortlessly refined. Working in close collaboration with owner Julien Zaal, we developed an identity that captures the spirit of a downtown living room, a place where guests can settle in for a long lunch, stay for cocktails by the fire, and feel at home from day to night.

Together with interior designer Lisa Boissevain, we carefully aligned the visual identity with the interior architecture and the overall guest experience. Every detail was considered to create a seamless connection between the brand, the space, and the atmosphere guests encounter from the moment they arrive.

The result is a balance of royal elegance and playful charm. Rich tones, soft textures, and refined details bring a sense of understated luxury, while lighter, unexpected elements keep the experience approachable and full of character. It is sophisticated without being formal, a place that feels both special and comfortably familiar.

One of our favourite features is the terrace along the canals. Surrounded by water, sunlight, and the energy of the city, it perfectly embodies the Little Bonfire experience: relaxed, vibrant, and made for sharing good food, good wine, and memorable moments with friends.
